Im the one that asked Nate the question on the Facebook forums and I understood him to mean he is under NDA's as it relates to CoX negotiations.

Like I said, a pretty damn good assumption.  :)

In all fairness, with most game companies you have to sign an NDA just to be in the building.

Can anyone suggest a good MMO? I've been thinking about giving Star Wars another shot but not sure. I've gotten bored with WOW again...

Any new MMOs out that I might not of heard about?

I keep hearing only two things come from Oklahoma, but I had no idea they were biscuits and gravy.
I'm sure biscuits 'n gravy came from some place other than Oklahoma. I think I had it in Arkansas once...

Well, it's not an MMO, but I find Wasteland 2 rather interesting. Of course, I'm a fan of the original, so there might be some bias there.

Thanks for the suggestion, I might check it out when I have the extra cash.

Why don't cities have nda just to live in them.  NDA's for everything.

SWTOR is OK.  Leveling in relation to the story is pretty static, but as long as you have not been through it too many times, you will not get too bored.  They have added a lot of endgame content to make the later levels better.

Nate Downes flat out said he is under multiple NDA's. This would not be the case if nothing was happening.

That is also an assumption. It could also mean that nothing is happening now, but he believes there is enough of a chance of something happening in the future to not want to risk it by violating the NDA.

Speaking of... I actually bought one of the DCUO DLC packs, and then rolled a new character.  He's lvl 20 now and so far I've only gotten the same missions I've gotten for every other character I've leveled up.  How do I play the new content?  Is there a secret?  Is it just post lvl-30?  What gives?

I am not allowed to say whether I can say if I can answer that - or not.

He could also be willing to honor the NDA, regardless of his current assessment of his odds.  In my own profession, there are nod and wink unofficial rules for how much you can bend an NDA, but overall I've tended to honor them on principle rather than consequence.

Swotor is fun for a bit but don't make the mistake of subbing for 6 months like i did. i'm miserable in it after 1.5 and feel like i have to keep playing to justify my cash.

If you -must- commit to SWTOR, The Agent and Sith Warrior stories, animations, and Empire community is just better in general.

However, I consider SWTOR's dev team to be the polar opposite of CoH's. They are literally the most incompetent bunch of bimbos I've seen in a long time.

I'd suggest WoW, it's pretty much the most famous for a reason, and it's rather Alt friendly right now.

I recently made this guy when I got bored of my Rogue. http://us.battle.net/wow/en/character/wyrmrest-accord/Rularuu/simple

I have been a swtor subscriber since preorder. I cancelled my sub 2 weeks ago. swtor is being used to grind what cash they can from the customer base. their dev staff makes wildly contradictory actions and then lies about it, assuming they can be bothered to talk to their customers at all. horrible customer service that often doesnt even read the tickets they are closing.  dont waste your money.
