TBH, given the amount of time that's passed, I wouldn't be surprised it wasn't already a done deal, but they're not saying a word until the new holding company is setup and they've confirmed that the server image works, so they can just say "It's done. Open beta starts Monday next."

That would be a complete mind blower, that would.

While I think that would be an incredible and ah-mazing way to revive COH, Nate's latest comment has me second guessing if this is a realistic case. Another comment from him:

They can say "no" 100 times, they only need to say "yes" once. And we've not yet gotten a "no" so there's that.

To me, this suggests more that there isn't a definite answer by which he's under clause not to speak about, but that there just isn't a definite answer either way (ergo, what Arcana and others are suggesting). But, I will say that knowing a.) there are NDA's at play here, which confirms legitimate corporate communication is happening, and b.) they have not yet said no...

Pretty good. Pretty darn good.. Granted, these are things most people had already assumed were happening by this point.

But still good! Also, granola and yogurt.

When people were saying it will be 6 months to a year after an announcement before we have the game, I was thinking that's unlikely, because I don't think the deal will be final or anything will be announced until a lot of the infrastructure is in place.  Investors will want to make sure the tech to have the game working is doable before the money goes through.  Not an expert or anything, but that's what makes sense to me.

That being said, I don't know there's any particular reason to believe (or not believe) that we're at a certain stage yet.

Jeez, wouldn't it be great if CoX got a "yes" BEFORE Nexon manages to complete their hostile takeover of NCSoft?  But then again, I guess we're better off in the long run if they know about it and are okay with it going in, or else the rug could get pulled out from under us by yet another nasty overlord once again....   :o

What really sucks in that McDonald's, here in California, doesn't even know that biscuits and sausage gravy exists. They looked at me funny the first time I ordered it after moving here from Oklahoma.  :(
