Combat Training Offensive: Slotting Acc enhancements does not increase the +acc bonus
It should be, have you applied the 1.4001 database update?

My bad... was using the 1.4 version...

but the thing is I already updated... I don't have auto-update, I manually select 'Check for updates' in the menu and already downloaded the update, but for some reason it didn't install.

But re-downloading the update fixed it. Now using the 1.4001 database version and the +acc bonus is being applied correctly and slotting is working correctly.

Mids

Hmm...
When you did the check for update, did you then quit the program and re-launch it by running the shortcut (and not Hero Designer.exe)

DarkShader

Yes I closed down the program, but I started the program again via the shortcut that was in the recently used programs list. Did the same thing the second time as well...

Gremlins I tell you... Gremlins!! Its all the Gremlins fault!!

Mids

I've spent quite a bit of today jumping up and down on verious Gremlins. Let's hope I got the ones that did this too.

I'm seeing that Acrobatics is showing a -7 Mag to Knockback, but I thought the new value was supposed to be -9?   That or I'm just reading the data incorrectly between the representation of the patch notes and the planner.

Patch notes:   Travel Powers

¤Leaping / Acrobatics - Reduced Knockback Protection of Acrobatics from 100 points to 9 points. Note that this means there are certain critters who will occasionally overcome the protection provided.  (Man I miss that ginormous value. ;] )
¤Leaping / Acrobatics - Now accepts Knockback enhancements. These will increase the protection to knockback attacks, however only 2/9ths of the protection is enhanceable.

I am not seeing a representation in the change of protection when slotting a KB enhancement in Acrobatics. But perhaps I need to open one of the data windows to see it? I'm just looking in the 'Info' box.

That was one of the Gremlins I trod on this morning, as it happens.

Acrobatics has 2 different -Knockback effects:
One is -7
The second is -2

Only the -2 value is affected by enhancements.

The portion that's affected by enahncements (the -2) will be shown on the info tab, and be enhanced correctly in the next update to the designer.
(I'll get around to tweaking it so it adds them and displays the result at some point, it's on the list!)

I was fixing my Bots/FF MM build when I noticed that the protector bot defence buff is no longer showing on the info section or being calculated into the totals section.

TX for all the Fix and updates =)

Mids

That one's known to me, it's down to the pet having its own powers rather than them belonging to the summon power.

The Pet portion of the UI needs an overhaul... or possibly creating, as there isn't much of one right now! :P
I have plans to do some serious work on the pets when I hit the rest of the UI.

I'm not sure if this is unique to my computer set-up, but Kheldian power lists are so long that they cause the bottom bit of the planner to disappear into the Windows taskbar. The problem is that this missing bottom bit shows the damage done by the selected power.

This occurs even when I maximise the planner.

Tog

It's not just you.  It happens to me as well.  The workaround is to click the "F" in the top left corner of the info box.  This makes that box float.  If you change the view to 2 columns there should be room to store it on the right side.

Burn in Fiery Aura for Brutes doesn't show any damage.

Mids

Burn in Brute Fiery Aura will be fixed in the next patch, it was missing its 'absorb pet effects' tags.

Also, with regard to the damage graph being cut off, i'm aware of the issue, and as Tog said, the best way to deal with it for now is to switch it to floating mode.
It's one of the items on my wishlist for the UI overhaul...

Ah, right. Thanks, Tog, Mids.

Mids

Had a few spare minutes on sunday and wanted to test something out, so the damage graph being cut off should be somewhat remedied when I have the next patch ready to go. :)

Awesome! Can't wait to see the next update. :)

I've just noticed that the <cap> warning doesn't pop up when I slot more than 5 LotG globals into a character. Bug?

Mids

I'll check it, i think i had some capped effects on a build i was playing with earlier, but i'll make sure.

Mids

Hm, yep, it's not capping the special bonus effects, but it is capping the regular ones. I'll get on it.

Something is odd with the way damage proc's are being calculated.  On my brute's build the max damage of a purple set proc is showing as 496.9 damage and as far as I know they aren't effected by any damage modifier's.
