I've only seen the first...20 min or so of Talladega Nights once when it was on TV. I had to turn the channel. It was really awful. Like, really awful. I just don't like Will Ferrell in general. I don't like most of his movies and didn't care for many of his SNL skits.

When someone says they haven't seen Talladega Nights, I don't care.

When someone says they haven't seen Pulp Fiction, it's a travesty. If they're meatspace people, I sit them down and we watch it ASAP. They get to experience a piece of awesome cinematic history, and I get to see it again. Win/Win.

Honestly if you put Tarantino and Samuel L Jackson in a movie, it's a great movie.

I'm pretty sure if you put Tarantino and Sam Jackson in a 7-11, it is going to be a great 7-11.

@Biz, I concur. After all you must remember the reasons why trolleys no longer serve as public transit in the majority of the united states and the tracks are still there but remain covered with countless layers of asphalt. it all had to do with motor car enthusiasts and thier model T's and those damned trolley drivers who shouldn't be on the road cause they don't know how to drive (HINT, they were pulled on a Pulley and chord system!), and how the trolleys kept swerving in their lanes and all over the road (HINT they were on a track in only 1 lane!).

Occupation: "NASCAR!!!!!!" "uh, I mean ACE DRYVER!"

and in your perspective what was the issue with that corner and the trolley?: "Whi, I cud make that thar corner at max speed with or without the trolley and anyone who sez I can't is a dummy!"

And what is your perspective Mr Richington: "My dear fellow, I am far too rich and well educated to have made such a hapless mistake as to accidentally run into a trolley, why I believe it was the poor chap driving the trolley that was envious of my fine automobile! he rammed right into me!"

Long live the king.

I don't know why I have to say his full name (Samuel L Jackson) or it sounds funny. It's like "A Tribe Called Quest" where it only sounds right when said in full.

It's called conditioning. You've heard it as Samuel L Jackson your whole life, so that's his name. Not Samuel Jackson, not Sam Jackson, definitely not Sammy Jackson. Even Mr. Jackson sounds wrong. :)

Just wiki'd to see what the "L" stands for. Didn't think he could possibly be cooler, but he's the master now.

Ooh, good one. Shogun of Harlem versus Afro Samurai... hmm. I think a shogun outranks a samurai, but I'm no expert.

On the other hand, Afro Samurai had a series and a movie, edging out Sho'Nuff's run of just a movie. So in true Samuel L. Jackson fashion, he might win this one just because of the sheer number of projects he's been in.

Hypothetically, would I be banned from the forums if I were tell you that I didn't really like Pulp Fiction?

Just put a steel plate between them, neither will win.(Puts on flame suit to see who all actually believes that myth......)
Currently; Not doing any streaming, found myself with less time available recently.  Still playing starbound periodically, though I am thinking of trying other games.  Don't tell me to play mmohtg's though please :).  Getting back into participating in VO and the successors again to.

I like how he calls the the Beer Samuel Jackson, but refers to himself as Samuel L Jackson

And I'm having fun designing and making characters in fallout 4 constantly tweaking and adjusting builds to pass the time......

Currently experimenting with a scavenger themed character, all about hoarding and carting gigantic amounts of junk(not just the average, either, I'm talking 500+ pounds worth at a time!), breaking it down and making crap out of it.  The one man/woman scavenger empire!

It does make me ponder though if I should make a 'gets junk, makes OP weapons and equipment out of it!' kind of character in CoX if it comes back.  But I don't like the stereotype 'raider' or freakshow appearance.

In other news(don't spoil deadpool for me, hadn't gone to theaters in a long time -.-), but because of Deadpools success, Batman V Superman is getting the R rating.  Woot.

As I understand it, the theatrical cut will still be PG-13.  The Blueray release is being redited to an R rated version.  I'm not sure you can attribute that directly to Deadpool's success, because video releases have often had "directors cuts" that were just plain unrated so they could put whatever they wanted in them.  Especially before the rise of Blockbuster, and then again after Blockbuster imploded (yes, I hated that stupid policy with a vengeance).
