Cleaned up a crap ton...went back seven pages, deleted almost six pages worth. If I missed anything inflammatory, please tag the notify-mod button (don't post in the thread and don't PM me about it). If this line of discussion continues here (I cannot and will not control your PMs, but tbh that would be uncool), I am not averse to handing out temp or perma bans, depending on how assholish you are in the continuation.

Most forum software has a way to do that, but I don't think that feature has been enabled on these forums.

Edit: not that I can watch videos today, since half the computers in the state appear to be streaming the Eddie, sucking up half the internet bandwidth in the entire state of Hawaii.

I never said it was a "general spam sink", and what transpired over the last couple days wasn't a "general spam sink" in any case. You guys were being assholes to each other, and that doesn't belong.

Part of me knows I deserved the agro, the other part of me is from the old net. in the old net people used to berate random people with terrible life shattering insults and concepts, flaming each other till people actually broke down and cried and people started urging people to do bad things to themselves in their weakest moments of their mental state. To survive that troll pit most of us are hardened as to it's ways.

since many years ago, I learned a very important lesson; don't believe/fall victim to anything said on the internet unless it is proven later. and don't feed to trolls no matter how deserving of the things they say a person is; instead read, do not respond, change topic (or slyly hint to a supporting statement of the person being trolled when possible).

at any rate I thank you for your moderating of this topic. I like how you don't just remove the offending posts but the ones that lead to them as well. many moderators in the old net could have learned from this wisdom.

To anyone I was an Donkey too in the past 2 days (or before that) you have your points and I admit on legal matters it is wrong for someone such as me to speak. I speak from the way that I would like things to be (how I imagine things would be if the world were fair) but it's not fair so I shouldn't encourage others to imagine things my way on legal topics.

Also to those who may have supported me in the statements in the past few days, thankyou. I just didn't want to say it then because of the whole dragging people down with me thing. I have a question for people who frequent these boards; we are all here because we love CoX and have hope that one day that it will return so we can fly/SS/SJ or TP across our beloved City or Isles...

So here's the question:

What would be your preferred set up of an 8 person team, with the intention of doing one or more of the following, Story Arc Missions, Task Force, Strike Force, Street Sweeping or Badge Hunting? I don't believe there would be a perfect set up as everyone has different opinions, but it will be fun and informative to see where people agree with or disagree with a choice.

Just remember this is fun  ;) and not serious, any way my choices;

Tank – Willpower/Dark Melee
Defender – Dark Miasma/Dark Assault
Controller – Illusion Control/Time Manipulation
Scrapper – Spines/Fiery Aura
Corruptor – Fire Blast/Radiation Emission
Mastermind – Robotics/Force Field
Brute – Dark Melee/Regeneration
Scrapper – Broad Sword/Shield Defence

To me it has a good combination of Damage, AoE, Healing, Support Buffs & DeBuffs so this is my set up.

1. Tanker - Stone / Stone (Ideally this would be me, playing secondary to the brute, unless needed)
2. Brute - Willpower / Super Strength
3. Mastermind - Necro / Dark
4. Controller - Illusion / Time
5. Controller - Gravity / Kinetics
6. Blaster - Fire / Fire
7. Defender - Empathy / Rad
8. WS / PB (probably WS - but I like the PB "babysitting" the Emp too)

Something with a dash of comic book super team would be perfect - so pretty much all thematically matched - but like Josh said, it was always a nice surprise to see someone come up with a well designed toon.
