I truly believe the cure for bad science and pseudo-science is good science.

I also believe the cure for crazy is more focused crazy, so I do tend to flip between the two.
Why not combine the two and go for more focused crazy good science?

Space is not empty of matter in fact it has a LOT of hydrogen atoms and this is why many of the long distance craft are discussed as using a type of "sail" that collects this hydrogen and powers the craft.

BTW Ironwolf, I've heard it said (by people smarter than me) that there is now a pretty solidly demonstrated proof that ram-assisted designs cannot work.  It's apparently impossible to get more acceleration out of the material collected than you lose by moving the collector through the medium.

There are modified designs that use on-board engines to energize the incoming hydrogen which theoretically eliminate most of the mandatory drag of a ram-fusion drive system.  The modified systems look at least to me like the interstellar version of high-bypass turbofan jet engines.

Sometimes, it's crazy enough that you just gotta pull out the time cube and be done with it.

My first time in a Muslim country, I was fleetingly surprised that my favorite sandwich at the local version of an American fast food place was devoid of bacon.

That said, it's fun listening to my immature coworker trying to get our Brit boss to explain Spotted Dick... :)
I wouldn't use the word "replace," but there's no word for "take over for you and make everything better almost immediately," so we just say "replace."

Actually, I was starting to get Alexander "Time has inertia" Abian flashbacks.  Ah, the good old days.  Maybe I should just dig up those old USENET posts and fling them back at Joshex.

And now I have...

I'm 'Enery the Eighth, I am,
'Enery the Eighth I am, I am!
I got married to the widow next door,
She's been married seven times before
And every one was an 'Enery
She wouldn't have a Willie nor a Sam
I'm her eighth old man named 'Enery
    'Enery the Eighth, I am!

stuck in my head.  Thanks.  :P

That's either bad or good.  Depends on if it's Patrick Swayze singing it or not, really! :p

Not to go off topic with some potentially old news, but DBZ fans like myself, get ready for hype.

I love everything dbz (except Kai, Sorry im not one of those manga people that whines and complains about filler)
I wish they would stop milking the series with redubs and movies and just give us another season or show. I don't care if it's canon or not... Best we got was GT after Majin Buu saga and while GT has its ups and downs.... leaves me wanting more than the occasional movie.

I haven't followed DBZ since the GT series.... have I missed a lot? And the Freza saga was one of my favorites. :)

I lost track og DBZ around the time that Vageta blew himself up fighting Majin Bu.

Did I miss much?  :P

I did not know about this.  Thanks for posting it.  I love DBZ and I am really looking forward to it.  My favorite saga was the Trunks saga.

On another topic, seeing 742 views on the thread Codewalker made show a good estimated number on how many individuals are interested in this game. Granted people can view it more than once, but, I am assuming (or hoping) less than 10% are multiple views.
