On the dark streets of Atlas Park, the Hellions were making their presence known.  Hellions are a new gang to Atlas Park and they came upon the scene with violence. From robbery to blatant attacks upon innocent bystanders, these thugs were making a name from themselves.

Under the overpass near the Blake building, three thugs were engage in a monetary exchange between their female victim and themselves.  Beefy Nick was attempting to remove Carly's purse and she tightly hung on to it.  For some strange reason, it was an equal contest of strength since neither was able wrestle the purse away from the other.  Abe, the newest member of the Hellions, played with his baseball bat and tried to look cool.  Richard (Called Cop-Beater-and-don't-call-me-Richard) was checking his pistol for the nine hundred and seventy third time and he ignored everyone else.

Suddenly a teleport beam shined upon the ground twenty feet away.  In it glow, Noyjitat appeared.

What does he do?

Perhaps you should form the thread yourself then, I get the feeling you just came here because of the side your on.  Sorry but you didn't link your own stuff here but I am actually going to just start searching for some things here, really, kind of annoyed now since some right-winger always has to keep jumping in, its why i'm asking for anything related to climate change be removed from the thread.  I was actually smiling that hey, Iron wolf said he'd like to create a thread in the general chat, but then you come in and try to bring it back up again, seriously.

Also I have an extreme level of paranoia about the internet and anyone who disagrees with me when they try to say they have a degree in anything, you have to earn my trust for me to be willing to believe anything you say, while I am actually more trusting of Ironwolf, I do not know you.  You could be a murderous psychopath all I care.  The fact that I do not recognize your name, and then you single me out, makes my usual barrier raise the guns on you.  And no one gets through to me once I raise those guns.

I always thought we needed more of a reaction from Recluse over Statesman's death. Even if he didn't still consider Marcus a friend on ANY level, he should have still been annoyed that SOMEONE ELSE killed his archenemy.

Didn't they have a really detailed mini story for the Nemesis invasion events that explained that he was really pissed off that someone else killed his archnemesis? If Nemmy was pissed I'd imagine Recluse would be even more furious.....Requiem too now that I think about it, and Eisensturm if he's still alive.

Heh. Now I just have this fun idea for a storyline in COX where Requiem, Nemesis, and Recluse all join forces to bring Statesman back to life because they're so lost without having him as an archenemy. :D

indeed, I did talk with recluse after statesman's death, he was obviously trying to not show any weakness over the incident due to his reply, although that might have been because I was a hero who turned villain got patron powers from scirocco 'aka scissors' and turned hero again, then vigilante.

Well, to prevent leader abuse of kicking, world of warcraft from what I read, implemented an anti-kick measure in that, someone kicking players to frequently would get an ever increasing cooldown for how long they have to wait before kicking someone.

It's very abused in another way. If someone gets kicked lots of times, say, because they're a complete troll...they get increasing PROTECTION. So you can end up with someone who enters raids just to wipe them, and eventually trolls so many times they become immune and hold 24 other players hostage.

In theory, this was intended to protect garden variety baddies...the ones who have a fair chance of eventually improving given practice, advice, or gear. In practice, it mostly results in trolls driving everyone else out, undergeared staying undergeared because everyone leaves, and everyone is too mad about it all to give advice.
