So we will have a bunch of O'Ders and Nads xD
Does that mean if this all goes through and they get to work on the new stuff that we'll all be yelling
"GO NADS! GO NADS!..." ?

'Mystery Men' is my favorite movie.

Sinistar

Should the game return it may be best to return with Ish 23 as mission 24 story content wasn't complete along with the IO changes as I recall.

Now if it could return with ish 23 plus the Tier 3 power customizations activated that would be nice.

Also please remove knockback from Peacebringer powers. :)

I24 was only weeks from release. The final IO-related tweaks could probably be sussed out. The story content was complete.

Someone said a while ago, what better title for city of heroes on it's return, than City of Heroes: Resurgence?
Currently; Not doing any streaming, found myself with less time available recently.  Still playing starbound periodically, though I am thinking of trying other games.  Don't tell me to play mmohtg's though please :).  Getting back into participating in VO and the successors again to.

It's a program called "Mid's Hero Designer," and in my opinion, it's the best companion program for a game ever created. It allowed people to plan their builds outside the game and place IOs before character creation, so people could essentially see what "path" they could take with a hero. It's really what kept me playing for years and years.

Thank you.  So this would pretty much eliminate having to respec over and over?
If I was a Jedi, there's a 100% chance that I'd use The Force inappropriately.

Particularly if you had that one guy who could always con another player into leaving their back open. Strategically, I was just as good as he was.

Fraking PO'd me.

Ok so one time this guy was playing Italy.. and his teamates wanted him off the field so they could divide his land.. so they conspired with me.. they said they would support him on his attack against me.. they didnt.. he got almost completely wiped out in like one turn.. he was down to one army..

Well, yes and no.... Yes in the sense that you can "respec" over and over in the program without burning a respec in game. No in the sense that (like me) your addiction to experimenting with new builds in Mid's may actually *enhance* your temptation to respec your character more in the game to test out all these new ideas you got.... :)

Real respect, maybe.

Actually it gives you a great opportunity to do simulated respecs as many times as you want. This allows you to do multiple respecs in game the way you want. As in, you can do a build for leveling up and a different one for end game content/uber building.

And if you want you can build two builds in game. So, you could have one for team content and one for solo kickassitness (is that a word? :) ).

Since you can potentially go through 4 or 6 respecs during your chars life, mids becomes an important and fun extension of the game.
Cogito, Ergo... eh?

Noice.

My story was Much worse.

Geoff (France) got Stephanie (Italy) to leave open the space next to Switzerland in the name of defending against me (Germany). He then proceeded to casually send one army into Italy and clear out here supply centers. While they were both pressing me.

She was fine with it!!!!!

Eh, maybe she thought he was cute.

for those who don't know, a full game (with 8 players) can take as long as 10 hours (or longer) to play through. Fun game when you can get the numbers.

lol! I know what 'ya mean... I just didn't want to give a definitive "YES!" without cluing him into the addiction that has afflicted many of us... I could have stuck with one "perfect" build (really tongue in cheek), but it was SO fun to experiment with all my new ideas in-game, I literally wound up respec'ing my WS more than 40 times over the course of my 6 or so years. Then again, many of those were in conjunction with creating a guide. So, your experience may vary. I had many friends who, rather than working on new builds in Mid's, decided to create a ton of alts and experiment that way. On the flip side of the coin, I had a few friends who spent more time in Mid's than they even did playing the game (one of my friend's personal pleasures was fulfilling "build requests" from other people).
