Don't think you have to give a lot to make a difference. For some teammates a $5 donation would be a doubling of their total! and chipping in the $15 VIP subscription that got cancelled for Oct (or November) would be around a 50% increase for 1/2 of the folks on the team!

Did anyone make any flyers for this to take to their workplace or anything? Ya know, kinda like those silly book folders they used to give us all at school for fundraisers? Just kinda wanted something that I can show people or just have it pinned to a cubicle that they can read, so I don't have to go through the entire story like a door-to-door-salesman speech with every potential donor.

They have flyers, but they're for recruiting people to do the game-a-thon itself, not for getting people to contribute money to a game-a-thon-er. But they do have graphics that could be used to help make a flyer.

It truly does amaze me how much this community can band together; especially for something like this.
They are closing down our city...but we are still heroes...helping children/families in need.

I still think we can rival the folks in the top 10 though.

If we had $1 more for every Hero in Leandro's Unity Rally Video (3700 heroes), we would be breathing down the neck of the #10 team.

If the a large part of the VIPs in the Unity Rally donated their OCT $15 VIP dues (that they aren't being charged in Oct or Nov)... say 2000 VIPs? --  $30, 000 we would be number 2 and in striking distance of #1. (even at $10 we would be #2)

That's without considering the amount of Rally folks on Freedom and spillover into the other servers... and without considering donating Nov VIP payment.
