The car door thing was Daredevil (that I was starting to like). Like the 3rd episode.

I can't imagine myself not being able to access whatever I want in Netflix, at any age, **especially** if I was a child comic book fan with shows to watch.

Well, judging by the don't-careness, guess it's just me. I shall drop the torch. I'm glad I'm no longer desensitized but feel like I lost something when I see today's shows about the comics I grew up with.

Guess there is *one* feelgood moment here. I've never been happier to be non-mainstream. I've never felt better about what I missed on TV and in movies the last 10-20 years. I feel sorry for today's kids and what they lost.

Anyway... Loved this penultimate episode. The scene with Rachel and Kory in the car had me rolling, as did the brief talk of fruitcake and how Dick likes it. It was difficult to watch the Hank scenes, but I think he's overcoming his demons.

There's tons of good stuff, too. Since when did the Hulk start talking...? I know I shouldn't ask.. I liked him more when he was big and dumb as a post but I'll probably get used to it. I saw my first talking Hulk in ... Iron Man and Captain America: Heroes United (Netflix). This, is a superb Saturday/Sunday morning cartoon btw. And that's how I watched it this morning : )

As a kid, I can nearly guarantee you that if it was on TV (Netflix is modern TV) and came from Marvel or DC I would watch it. I'm glad I didn't experience Daredevil, for the first time, like I did, the last time. And I dunno what else to say about that.

I mean, hey. I grew up when Schwarzenegger was making films and the more foul you could be and talk, the cooler you were, and he is/was a sort of hero. I get the mentality that to be taken 'seriously' you have to be the edgiest, but...

I dunno it just doesn't seem superheroey, what we're talking about - to glorify the gore. And apparently it's an it's just me thing sooo. Yeah. I'll let it go. I just don't think it's right to take any comic book material at all away from kids. I'm glad no one took any of it away from me!! We're not talking about comics like (I can't think of a good one because I didn't read them) Spawn or something like this.. we're talking about Batman, Iron Fist, Daredevil - guys I couldn't get enough of, when, I was, like... super small.

*shrug*

Again, torch is down. I guess it's just me. Not the first time for such an event and not the first time I didn't see it coming  : )
