Baaleos

'Them' is the term we use to refer to the secret consortium of men, two women and a dog, in a darkened futuristic room who sit around a table planning their acquisition of the CoH IP rights.
Im not sure if NCSoft are the ones you would want dictating toilet facilities.

THeM is a reference to the Task-force Hail Mary team attempting to get NCSOFT to say YES....DAMMITT!!!  err...Pancake.

I'm new-ish here.  What the hell is THeM?

They tricked you asked you to be a mod and you're unfamiliar with all the craziness going on in this thread?  Oh my.

A stupid non-acronym for the negotiation team code-named Task Force Hail Mary.

It works as an acronym if you spell it:  Taskforce Hail <Expletive> Mary.

Eabrace's Rules of Moderating New Efforts - Newly Revised:

1.  Steer clear of the New Efforts thread at all possible cost.  Agge's got that thread pretty well handled.
2.  If Agge is on vacation you've been tapped as "Head Moderator", the New Efforts thread is yours - until Agge gets back you can find a way to weasel out of it.
3.  Handle any reported posts in the New Efforts thread as quickly as possible.  The cascade effect of subsequent posts referencing that reported post is faster than you.
4.  After reading through any posts in the New Efforts thread, Google search images of puppies and kittens.

LOL... To be honest, I mostly ignored this thread as a user.  Now I'm obligated to read it... as well as everything else. (Hyperlexia for the win.)

I anticipate this is my FNG part of the job training.  Then eabrace will one day tell me New Efforts is my beat now, and at that point I'll know my fate.  ;)

We'll get it back eventually.
Currently; Not doing any streaming, found myself with less time available recently.  Still playing starbound periodically, though I am thinking of trying other games.  Don't tell me to play mmohtg's though please :).  Getting back into participating in VO and the successors again to.

I was just watching DVDs of Chuck.  Season 2, disc 2, deleted scenes.  Chuck and Casey have a conversation in the Buy More in front of a display of City of Villains.  Very prominent, very in focus.

It was in one of the aired episodes too. Had to have been season 1 or early season 2 as I gave up on it before s2 ended.

Also people actually report posts? Lawl.

When I want game, I just close my eyes and I play game.  And all that I so want to make in game, it's only an Icon away.

When I need game, I hold out my hand and I touch game.  I know P. Chat's not really the same, but it keeps me warm night and day.

It's not easy when the game is in limbo.  Star Trek Online can't take the place of Atlas.

But you know it won't be offline forever.  It's cold out.  So hold out.  And do like I do....

I haven't really played Trek Online since they radically changed it again and screwed up my offline training fun.  Once in a while I do log into one of my ships, The Mondor, and pretend I'm a Pakled in open chat.

It was a feature that was suppose to come out but it never did.

Given how they screwed up the equivalent feature in Neverwinter, maybe STO folks should be glad it never did.

In older seasons of The Big Bang Theory, when they were in Stuart's comic book store, you could see a large City of Heroes poster board.  *sigh*
