Can someone who has no idea about the technical side of things, ask... What do we know? Are there any updates? Can someone give me a little hope? :)

We know they are talking, and talking, and probably slowed down with internal stifle between Nexon and NCSoft, but they are talking. Am I pulling stuff out of thin air, yes, but there is no indication the deal is dead so they are talking.

Its almost like NCSoft doesn't realize that if they don't do something soon, they might have to put City of Heroes into maintenance mode.

It appears that New Horizons, out past Pluto, has a faster communication rate than NCsoft.
Too bad NASA doesn't own CoH -- we'd probably have a much better chance of seeing "progress" were that the case...  :)

FYI:  my old PC which could barely run CoH finally shrugged off this mortal coil last week, and my new slightly better PC arrived today... therefore we will get good news about CoH within the next 2 weeks.

You should "test" out the old COH client and come try the Paragon Chat.  Make a hero, say he to random people.

To be politically correct, she or it should be used when addressing individuals of those particular genders...

Just sayin. Some people get a little irate when the she is called he, despite the knowledge of the she actually being a she was unknown to the one calling the she he.

Here is a theory for why there has been no breakthrough in the NCSoft discussions.  They have been watching this thread, and have vowed not to announce anything (even if it is a DONE deal) until it hits 1,000 pages!

Had a great dream the other night that me and an old buddy were playing CoH. Managed to get my rad/rad def up to like level 8 before thinking "I should really be online telling everyone the game is back!" Sadly, that was when I woke up and realized the truth.   >:(

Honestly not too long ago I to had a dream that I was playing and fighting again, but in Paragon Chat. We finally had powers working. If I remember correctly I think the version I saw was 1.66! Hey I think that was a premonition for something to come!
