If we don't get the data, then relaunch the game with everything on the table for everyone, vet rewards, costume parts, archetypes ect. . . Then market new content and grant new vet rewards based on the new game.

But I really hope that at the eleventh hour, they find a way to include Character & Account data with the I23 image relaunch, then it would all be moot.

Only Hong Kong Phooey is allowed to do that!
Eddie Murphy is rumored to actually be the next Hong Kong Phooey, and I don't think he can handle the costume change.....

He's kind of like an old Greek playwright; writing himself into a corner until things are so convoluted that the deus ex machina (machine of the gods) has to descend from heaven and set everything right.

Deus X Machina was my EA/SS robotic tank.  Good to know he's still saving the day!

I23 had additions to the travel pools just before the shutdown announcement.
1.Teleport had a 'teleport to another zone' power. It only affected the user. I can't remember the name though.
2.Flight had a power called 'Afterburner'. It didn't actually boost flight speed but it did increase the cap. When used, you couldn't attack but you got a big defence boost as well.
3.Super speed had a power that immediately recharged all non-pool powers. It had a 30 min recharge that couldn't be reduced. Can't remember it's name.
4.Leaping had a targeted area attack that moved you to the clicked area and AOE blasted around you. I didn't use it and can't remember it's name either (i'm lousy at remembering names).
......

1. Long Range Teleport.
2. Afterburner still let you use powers that target yourself.
3. Burnout - 48 End cost to instantly recharge abilities, and lower end cost for 60s.
4. Spring Attack - Also had chance to knockdown.

I remember watching the Star Wars Holiday special- oh the pain. I convinced my wife or coerced her to watch it with me. I had to turn it off. Almost as painful as Shia Laboef in anything.

Personally I'd rather watch 10 hours of Star Wars holiday special than 1 minute of Shia Laboef.  ;D

That sounds like the elevator pitch from the insane person that came up with that special.  I also saw it when it aired....  THE HORROR.

I'd really like a npc costume pack added or the ability to use the /load_costume command we have in icon. I'm going to miss pieces and combos that are currently not allowed such as the carnival of light mask while wearing a hat or the fashion/widow boots. And then those sexy wyvern costume pieces for males. I could easily see myself paying for more pieces but if they run into a problem with making market pieces available it seems the /load_costume command without restrictions would be the easiest fix.

This.

None of the vet rewards were so overamped as to make lowbies too strong to do the low level missions, they were just nice tools to have.  Not to mention all the respecs and costume tokens tied to the rewards will be nice to have right away.

Quite honestly, the only reason why I got the veteran reward was because of the weapon prop I can use :P. The only real dps value at the lower level I used was sands of mu

Yeah, but you need the "jump into the filing cabinet" costume change animation.

Can we have the Phooeymobile as a vehicle?

It depends on how much reverence you have for Star Wars.  If your response to the Holiday Special is to go all comic book guy ("Worst.  Thing.  Ever."), then maybe the pain is too great.  The prequels and remakes and Ewoks and other assorted tomfoolery torpedoed the franchise for me long ago, so all that's left is to eke some comedy out of it.

Just to be clear, I'm 29. Born in 85'. The Star Wars Holiday Special has place in my heart.

On a nearly a weekly basis my buddies and I get together and watch old movies. Few are good, most are bad, and then there are the really awful, bad movies that you simply do not forget and no amount of alcohol can deaden the pain those movies inflicted. The genre of movies are that of Tarantino would borrow/steal from. You know... Grindhouse quality movies from several decades. 70's, 80's, 90's and some strange stuff from recent decades. We've been doing this for...maybe eight years now...there have been gaps in between.

Anyway, in a drunken stupor one weekend close to Christmas we watched the Star Wars Holiday Special. I can assuredly say it wouldn't crack the top 10 worst things we have seen, or even from that decade alone but, oh the joy we got from that and watching our friend, a huge Star Wars fan cringe...oh my it was glorious. The jokes, the laughter, quoting other movies, the sheer insanity. Christmas presents that were wrapped in box, wrapped in a another box, wrapped in another box, and wrapped in yet another box. Having to use the grill in freezing December because the gas stove doesn't work. Passed out friends are fair game to anyone to torture or draw on. It was definitely the most memorable Christmas Grindhouse that I can remember. There was the one Christmas where we watched Santa's Slay, where Bill Goldberg plays an evil Santa though...

For our insane group, stuff like the Holiday Special is in our own little private mythos of Grindhouse. Picture...Freaks and Geeks meets MST3K in crappy run down house. Broken chairs, crappy furniture, friends with their own unique quirks and deficiencies that make them who they are, whatever vices you choose to indulge in, and the movies to mock and cringe at.

You just don't forget stuff like that, for better or for worse. :)

Yeah. It was a joke.

He also maintains that there was only one Highlander movie and a few episodes of a television series.

I knew it was a joke I was just sharing in childhood scars why I linked the terrible video to punish the young people who accidently clicked it  :P
