Let's pretend they're in the west coast US, since that's the furthest 'back' timezone they're likely to be in.

They still have over 3 hours before it's five o'clock, the traditional "kay, punch the clocks" time, four if you want to put that to six which is just as common.

Well since really there shouldn't have been any unofficial statement of a pending announcement, getting a retraction of said statement from anybody with "authority" would seem a problematic wish. Anybody directly involved probably just want to hide considering the aggression displayed by some people this weekend.

Also consider if the buyers are in the US, maybe they just decided to focus on enjoying the three day Labor Day weekend.

I will make clear one other item. I have Nothing Personal Against TonyV. To date, he , along with Robert have worked hard to help us stay in the know, and better the possible future of our Fair City. I just want everyone to get past the petty drama, and bullshit...and remain positive. We're lucky Robert Or tony are doing anything for us...Lord knows, it aint easy dealing with 1000's of angry, or Anxious fans.

As has been already noted you're obviously very new to what's going on since almost nothing in your posts is accurate except in the most general and still pretty far off way. The whole New Efforts! ball was started rolling by Ironwolf several months ago. TonyV's main involvement in the new efforts has been as supplier of the site where most of the initial (new) efforts were coordinated and offering behind the scenes advice, assistance, and support as the new efforts got rolling. Robert's role until extremely recently was a much more limited version of TonyV's: Robert supplied/moderated a venue where people discuss stuff related to CoH.
