I'm checking the folders but no seeing them, and they don't show up in searches.

If you don't have them, make them. They'll be in the data/ folder just like any other overrides.

1)  How does one get the white lights on the trees?  When I load the files into my CoH data folder, and then open Icon and head into AP, I get snow and lots of pine-trees, but no lights.

2)  If I paste code-string for another map-zone into the chat window (Kings Row, Steel Canyon, or Talos, for instance)  will these also appear with snow and pine trees everywhere, or does this only work for Atlas Park?

EDIT:  One more question - I see in a lot of videos with the snow map for AP that it's actually snowing as well.  Could someone share how to make that possible as well?

1) The tree lights come on when it gets dark, so you'll need to set the time to dusk or later for them to appear.  ("/time 0" is fun.)

2) Pretty sure it only works for Atlas Park, but I couldn't swear to it.   ;)

And I don't know about creating a snowing effect in videos, but I got some stills by using the "Throw Snowflakes" animation and timing.

Hmm... think I'm going to have to break down and download Icon. Even though I can't fight bad guys I can still remake some of my old characters and actually get screen shots of them... :( Maybe even improve some of their costumes incase CoH ever makes an epic come back. :P

Thanks for the info, Korbian.  I hadn't realized emote animations even still worked.  I'll have to give that a try.  :-)

There's a myriad of tricks and tips to accomplish fun stuff with it.  The popmenus available are awesome, and make it easy to do stuff even if you're a perma-newb like me.  (Which I'm not saying you are.  Lol.  There's a reason I'm mainly a lurker around here.   :P)  Somewhere I "heard" Codewalker "say" he's working on a way to be able to use emotes, etc. without them for the next update or so.  Bless the Titan team, we'd be lost without them.

That snowfall FX can also be hacked into an otherwise unused line of a costume file to get it in Icon -- just use the same syntax that shows up for capes, auras, or custom weapons but substitute WORLD/WINTEREVENT/N_SNOWFALL.FX instead.

Since this is about the winter event, has anyone found the Christmas zone for skiing?  I found:  maps/Missions/Unique/jumppuzzles/Jumppuzzles_Layout_01.txt  which appears to be the model of it but I can not find the actual zone.  I hope someone can help me.  I guess ill go to Frostfire's Lair for now: maps/MISSIONS/UNIQUE/DOORMISSIONS/OUTCASTS_LAIR.txt

You mean Pocket D's Chalet & ski slopes? It's a permanent part of Pocket D. Load the D map, then hit F12 until you show up in one of the spawn points within the Chalet.

You can also hit f5 to fly through walls to get to it from the main dance floor (or start a Praetorian and pick the tutorial).
