I've been spending time looking into upgrades for my X51 R2 myself.  So far it seems I've a few budget upgrades, heck I'm even watching people install more power demanding cards than the one I am looking at...go figure.

My current card is a GTX 645 with a power draw of 60w, I plan to upgrade my power supply from the 240 to a 330w and installing a GTX 1050ti(with a power draw, from what I'm reading, of a mere 75w, only 15 more then my current card).  And course I plan to upgrade my ram.

Should be interesting next few weeks to say the least.  It'll hold me over until City of Titans comes out in 2018(I am surprised no one brought it up in this thread, probably in another though yes?).

I think they were referring to the recent announcement by the CoT team of an expected Fall 2018 release, not to CoT in general.

How about City of Santas, wherein you are a mall Santa having to race your competitors to the local malls to get the choicest employers, comfiest chairs, and best crowds of children?  Succeed, and you work the three story mega mall with the cushioned sofa!  Fail, and you get the rinky-dink mall with half its stores closed and the hard, straight-backed chair.

Flight, Hasten, Toy Request Memorization, Name Memorization, Real Beard Growth, Real Belly, Luxurious Suit. . . . It's all a matter of properly slotting these powers so you don't fall behind.  Too many points into Real Belly, and you slow yourself down.  No points into Toy Request Memorization, and kids start thinking you're fake.

Breaking news? Yes, actually it was/is. Until the recent announcement, no estimated release date was out there. So **BREAKING NEWS: CoT Team Announces Estimated Release Date*** is apropos.

Exciting/relevant/noteworthy news? That's a different story and open to interpretation on an individual basis. Some may get excited, others indifferent, others...you get the point.

I wouldnt expect valiance online any faster. they took down the pre alpha servers and disappeared. last facebook entry was nov 3. I try to keep positive but dont see much of a future if a simple "hey, still working and making progress" message is too much. maybe that is too harsh, but at some time they have to become someone that can handle an in production MMO. On the other hand bioware has made an art form out of ignoring their community. swtor is still up but not doing very well.

I saw that just after they posted. still, a month between posts doesnt do much to keep interest up for you game.

Actually I am good not hearing about non updates or a weekly round up of non-news.  In fact, if the updates were quarterly that is fine too. 

This probably goes against the current grain with the over abundance of social media these days.

When there is an actual PLAYABLE product, launch plan and you want to work the fan base into a buying your product -- fine, then go crazy with the updates.

until then... keep coding.

Exactly Duane. I agree with this whole heartily. Just because accompany does not post anything does not mean something caused them to stop. I remember when there was a lack of updates from City of Titans, and some people were going around saying, they have been had. The same thing can be said about the team efforts about buying City of. until there is something substantive, such as the team leaders of all of the projects coming out and saying something, I wont listen to rumors.
I would rather have all of the team concentrate on their efforts and making them the very best they can. Then give weekly updates that could effect their products and or attempts.
