Talks with NCSoft have hit a stand-still while the major figures are playing Pokemon Go.  Yes, this beloved or hated game depending on your viewpoint has over-taken the City of Heroes purchase talks.  There were murmurs about a City of Pokemon, but everything is on-hold until they can capture and control a strong enough team to defeat the evil THeM.

Ragequit Pokemon Go when I found a wee beastie, gave it raspberries, used the yellow and black ball, did the curveball, got an very good on the throw but it broke out and immediately ran away.

I got enough random in my life.

I was hoping for city of civies where we get to watch heroes and villains battle it out.  That and we get to say meaningless stuff.

Does that include getting mugged by random thugs? Or abducted to a cave, or search for valuable info before hand. So the heroes, would have to rescue us?. You know this does sound like it would be interesting :D

Anything goes as far as I'm concerned but maybe we could have levels and our "powers" are things we could say.  So low levels get accosted by hellions and skulls while lvl 50 civies get attacked by rikti or 5th column.  Maybe we can be the civies in the final mission of a task force.

We "level" up by getting xp based on the heroes who save us or the villains who capture/rip us off/etc.

More likely, I think it would involve scantily clad men (and women) doing a lot of posing and flexing of muscles.

Sure. Happens all the time in ice hockey. Those hip checks and body checks can be awful. And a good number of martial arts throws involve breaking your opponent's balance with the use of a forcefully placed hip or backside.
