New efforts!

Powers like freezing rain could bypass the target cap because often if the number of enemies within it exceeded it, it'd spread it's effects as it'd target randomly.  Since the debuff lasted 30 seconds after just one frame, you could debuff everything in it.
Currently; Not doing any streaming, found myself with less time available recently.  Still playing starbound periodically, though I am thinking of trying other games.  Don't tell me to play mmohtg's though please :).  Getting back into participating in VO and the successors again to.

Fly my legions of stormies and wreck the Hami with fleets of freezing rain dealers at max level, I meant altitude :)

My favorite Hami myth was that if you used Dark Maisma's Fluffy that it would cause all the video cards to burst into flames and destroy everyones ability to see anything... Oh wait.

My favorite Hami myth is Kronos is a hold

Not only could you splash aggro across all those critters and herd them together, but most of them would not even shoot at you due to the peculiarities of critter AI.  In effect, running around in circles was a +32.5% defense buff.

*Muttering to myself* "Now all I need is 12.5% to soft cap... hmm, I'm gonna have to change a lot of my builds in mids... :)
Cogito, Ergo... eh?

I still enjoyed pvp post i13. Granted defense based toons were rather bunked. But it made me make toons more strategically. Christ at the end i started making combos people insisted would never work in pvp. Like a DA/BD tank. Many on Freedom knew that build of mine.

I13 Made people have to make other builds. Not just what worked at the time. Pre I13 you couldnt go into a pvp zone as a melee character without getting perma held with all your important toggles completely gone. A tank wasn't a tank basically. Keep pvp the way it was at the end. I thought it was close to just right.

There is always another way. But it might not work exactly like you may desire.

A wise old rabbit once told me "Never give-up!, Trust your instincts!" granted the advice at the time led me on a tripped-out voyage out of an asteroid belt, but hey it was more impressive than a bunch of rocks and space monkies.

I'd love to see storylines like that, where the Freakshow try melding arcane artifacts into their bodies, in place of or even alongside, the cybernetics.

Edit: Perhaps it'd be their Incarnate path?

Something like that. I was actually reading that on Paragon Wiki the other day, though she used Rikti tech. I also remember the Cult of the Shaper villain arc, with the Freaks that were worshipping the Leviathan.

No no!  Freakshow meats (intentional spelling) Dr Vaz.

'cause replacing your body parts with electronics is not fun enough, but zombie parts too!

I was not popular on the forums but I always liked the idea of masterminds or archtypes built on factions in the game OR mixing groups into one character like Circle of Thorns & Skuls

Anyways... I see no news.  Thank you whoever is working on the Deal of the Century and I guess time to check in later!

yeas! 33 merits, repeatable infinite times a day for the same merit output, usually takes an hour on x8 can be done in about 40 minutes in a rush IF the dang negotiation group spawns fast enough in that one level.

loved that arch. or am I thinking of a different freak arch?

It's my birthday! Any news I should be aware of since new years? No news might be good news, but it's also kinda boring.

If you're really that anxious about it, just Google "City of Heroes" every week, I'm sure something talking about the deal being finalized will be within the first few results.

Alternately, just go take a look at any subforum here.  You won't even have to open a thread, I'm sure you'll see plenty about the rebirth.

I put a notification thing in Google News to send me updates on City of Heroes. It chirped when CoH was mentioned during the WildStar layoffs

LaughingAlex

I'd rather keep it to here to be honest.  I don't discuss CoX in CO or it's forums for reasons that are obvious.  I do mention it in DCUO, but then I actually like that game and I hold that games community in a more understanding regard, and I also assure them they will be fine as that game is something else entirely, which is fine.  I sometimes mention it on youtube but even then, very rarely.  No, I normally only talk of the efforts here or maybe Facebook occasionally, but it's only brought up rarely on facebook anymore.

I always wanted to be able to turn my Mastermind minions in Council Soldiers...PPD Cops...Longbow soldiers..Nemisis Steampunk robots...Knives of Artemis. Stuff like that would have been awesome.
If we set it on fire it'll burn....but that'd leave evidence...I KNOW ! COMPLETE ATOMIZATION! WOOOO!

That would probably have been the proverbial straw that would have made me finally level a MM to 50.  Doesn't matter the game, I generally tend to dislike pet classes, but to have the pets be actual villain groups from the gameworld itself?  Yes, please!
