There was an article I read (can't find it, sorry) that noted that perhaps Stormtroopers miss because they're decent people at heart. Essentially, it's harder to shoot at a real person when you can see them, as the troopers do with helmetless Luke and gang, whereas it's super easy to shoot a bunch of masked men, because they're easier to dehumanize.

The real question, why is the Stormtrooper armor so bloody useless?

I'm under the impression somehow that the armor is good for standard civilian weapons, but isn't much good against military grade weapons. Which makes some sense, since you've got Han, a smuggler, probably using illegal stuff, and the rest of the gang on the Death Star using stolen Stormtrooper weapons. And the Rebellion probably has access to good stuff.

As far as Indiana Jones, he did drink from the Holy Grail, so he's immortal, right?

Edit: Didn't the Holiday Special bring us Boba Fett? Totally worth it.

A dedicated team of City of Heroes: Freedom fighters attempted to steal the plans to the game servers but their getaway car was stopped by NCSoft Imperial agents and in an act of desperation they managed to hide the plans in the luggage of an American tourist they ran into at the airport.  When this American entered his luggage combination on a date corresponding to the combination a special holographic message appeared instructing him to take the luggage to an old hermit in the desert who could unlock its secrets and restore superhero gameplay to the galaxy.

I actually watch it sometimes just for all the commercials. It's really fascinating to see all those old bits of pop-culture detritus like the "Trail Tracker Van" and ads for TV series that nobody remembers. It's like taking a step back in time.

The show is dreadful, of course. :)

I actually met Patrick Warburton once.   Great guy....he was out partying in this suburb of the city I live in. (making a movie)  He walked into the bar my band was playing.   At first I just thought it was a guy who looked like him and was going to tell him on break, "Hey...anyone ever tell you that you look like Patrick Warburton?"    When I found out it was really him I made a toast to The Tick from the stage.    Patrick and his friends burst out into huge cheers.    He apparently gets a million questions about Seinfeld and every other thing he's done...but no one asks about The Tick.   I got to talk to him about it quite a bit.

Best line, "It took two jars of K-Y jelly to get me into that costume!    ....Ironically, everywhere except my d*ck."

I have a question.  Is the first post in this topic still going to be used as a sort of info clearinghouse / summary of the efforts to date?  Some folks don't have time to chew through the eleventy billion posts in the main threads to stay current on the actual progress of the actual team to acquire the actual game.  I missed a few days of the forum because of IRL crap to find that all topics had been unpinned and some had been locked.  I no longer feel up to date on where Missing Worlds is in their efforts.  Perhaps there have been no significant updates since the "And the mask comes off" thread debuted, but I'm no longer certain.

If Ironwolf's opening post in this thread won't be used for that purpose, what will?  How about a mods-only sticky thread devoted solely to the news that's fit to print?  It'd be nice to have a central info location that is free of conjecture, speculation, and fan theories about NCSoft's fiendish plot to come to our houses and personally kick all of our dogs.  Just the facts, that's what I want the most.
