100% confidence in the CHANCE of this deal happening. Well, we all have that do we not? And it has all ridden on NCSoft since day 1. If they don't want to deal, then that's it.

I have 100% confidence in the *chance* of a lot of stuff: this is a meaningless statement.

I actually misread this myself and mis-paraphrased it the first time I referred to it. 
Thing is, Robert was one of those "oh man, is this just a big hoax" guys.  As in, he doubted there was any chance the deal might be legit and go through.

So the "100% CHANCE of this deal happening" is saying -- "Oh yeah, it's not a hoax, this stuff is real and just might work" -- which, yeah, is a place all of us have been since May, or page 60-ish, or the FIRST time people got into flamewars over "I think we should all start from scratch" (to put it another way)  :P

Why it was taken down is anyone's guess, but I'd assume it doesn't change things in any real way. Maybe it's going to be next Monday now. Maybe they just don't want anyone with facebook to get antsy. Without any confirmation, all we have is conjecture.

When, and if it's announced. I'd say the first thing Team Mysterion needs to do, is get a community manager so all this can be avoided. They should be using one person, and only one person to release information to everyone, via TN or FB. Ironwolf makes more money than a manager, and has too many other things going on, so he's out. Hopefully since we've come this far, they're prepared. We'll see.

looks like Robert took down his post, what I did not like was that he said this coming Monday if the team did not post anything he was, since than the entire post has since disappeared.

It is not his place to announce anything, and now he's saying he was just doing in the previous post what he was told to do, which in this continual climate of SHHHHHHHH, quiet everyone!  seems highly unlikely.  I understand he is over the top with wanting CoH back; we all are.  But to run off at the mouth to everyone on Facebook when a deal is not signed and sealed yet, especially as Team Mysterion AND NCSoft especially have asked that things be kept under wraps is just irresponsible.  If this guy was from the Team that would be one thing, but he's not.

Actually, I remember Statesman as being a fairly short hero ... so perhaps Tom Cruise SHOULD play him.
