Reading these various posts I am completely in awe and very impressed at the time and effort put into some of your builds.  The thought of soloing against an AV, let alone a Giant Monster, puts my pucker factor scale at a solid 10.  I played just to play.  Sure, I would try out various enhancements to see how well they affected my characters' abilities but you guys had it down to a science.  BRAVO!  Hopefully, I'll get the opportunity to see you battle in person.  My goal was to get one of each archetype to 50.  I can't wait to continue my quest.
I know how you feel, for me I learn a lot by just reading what other people are doing. For me I can solo +2 avs and solo +4/2 team mates. I could never survive long enough to fight a solo giant monster.

Wait, they ran out of strange new worlds and new civilizations?  They've boldly gone everywhere there is to go? :o

Had a memory failure on my video card a few weeks ago and had to replace it. Reminded me of when I had to replace the video card on my last machine.  I was going after a giant clockwork.  I think it was Babbage, but its been so long I can't remember.  I just recall jumping over a wall to attack, the screen froze,  pixelated and went dark.  When I restarted the machine the graphics were in VGA mode with artifacts all over the place and there was a message telling me the video card was not recognized.

Them Clockworks is mean!  Reached right through the wires and ripped the guts out of my video card!

My problem with soloing GMs was always getting the bastards to not run away from me.
I am a defender and so can you.

This is what you're looking for, for build discussions.

Wow. This whole time, that was there? The only reason I think I came to the Titan Network was because of the various links to badge tracking sites, herostats, stuff like that. I had no idea there were various build forums. I could have gotten some free advice, and given some as well.

For nostalgia's sake, I even opened up Mids'. I thought about a radiation/dark blaster (never did finish my dark blaster, who sits at level 19, I think, and still hasn't been defeated.) But, I was looking at the radiation and dark sets and I do like the potential for -toHit and -defense combined. The sad part is, it's been so long! I can barely remember what's good, what's bad and what's ugly! Eh, well, it definitely gives me something to do, lol.

Hmm...I still have to get my beast mastermind leveled up, too. All these new AT's that I haven't finished yet because there was always incarnate goodness to handle...

Saw the comment about Positron's suit and immediately remembered this:

Again... AMAZING!!!!  I was stoked when I was on a team of 4 and we completed a respec mission. Of course this was before Issue 5.  I was a Fire/Force Field Controller with Perma Hasten and 12 bubbled fire imps.  Hell, I bubbled everything, even the reactor core.
If I was a Jedi, there's a 100% chance that I'd use The Force inappropriately.

Join me in saying what I used to mutter anytime I had to deal with them: "Stinkin' TinkerToys!"

(And I look forward to muttering it again.)

The whole thing is available as a PDF at http://www.superheroromance.com. :)

I'm still writing book 2 (though I have it all scripted out so I know which chapters have which), I just need to get back into writing the romantic misadventures of Tava and Posi. And I already have the first few chapters of book 3 started (as a result of NaNoWriMo).

Double Wow!

I'm quite ashamed to say that I never knew Titan Network existed until after the shutdown. I was searching looking for any info on CoH when I found it.

How could I not think about Up 'n' Away Burger...  Or Major Flanders chicken...  Or El Super Mexicano for that matter...

I dunno, I think I'm more in the mood for City of Gyros or In Front Steakhouse. Maybe Cap'n Kraken's if anyone else wants seafood.

Don't forget El Super Mexicano! Everyone's a Fire/Poison corruptor after that place!

I uploaded a pic for my avatar! I hope you like it - in case you can't tell, that's the CoV Collector's Edition box with the Statesman figurine (from the CoH Collector's Edition)!

It may be slow news, but hanging out here feels eerily similar to the old CoH forums that it's worth doing for that alone.

All we need is someone to burst in claim the Marketeers are the Devil's tools, complain about jerk-hacking Americans, argue math with Arcanaville, Dev bash and post brony pics and the feel of the place would be complete!
