Oh god that movie.....just, ugh.
Currently; Not doing any streaming, found myself with less time available recently.  Still playing starbound periodically, though I am thinking of trying other games.  Don't tell me to play mmohtg's though please :).  Getting back into participating in VO and the successors again to.

Dragonquest was a nice mix of conanesque fantasy and modern fantasy with just a little Tolkien sprinkled in. Just one of many from the era. Avalon Hill also had one called Powers and Perils that meet the same fate.

Ahh I had the Powers and Perils boxed game. :D

Played that but never owned it.

Iron Wolf, I know you want to preserve the identity of the mysterious buyers but could you answer this question.

Is the studio buying COX an already established studio or has it been built with just this franchise in mind?

Thanks in advance!

Same. I was in the CO beta, and saw enough promise in it to buy the pre-release LTS. And I was glad that I had it to cushion the fall when CoX was taken from us. But what it is now is NOT what it was.

Champions is still in Beta...

Azrael.

QuoteI played the CO beta too - it felt like it was an attempt by Jack to try and show that he'd been right all along.

Incisive comment.

Well, just realised you cannot comment on CO on the official thread, as a heads up, they'll just explode.  Maybe the sub forum here though.

So more back to the topic at hand: I seem to remember (though I could be totally wrong) something about the in-game store being at least partially outsourced and built on some sort of web scripting. Does anybody else recall anything about that? Basically I'm wondering if the store going to likely be one of those missing components the buyers will have to sort out.

Oooo, Tunnel Rat's working for Toys for Bob? I enjoy their work, wish they could work on some new Star Control games. But that's gone to Stardock.

Whoever invented lockboxes needs to be forced to play the Keyes Reactor Trial with a league of hyperactive 5 year olds until they get the "Avoids the Green Stuff" badge - only then will they be allowed to stop.

; _ ; in all my years of playing, I could never EVER find a team who could finish a Reactor trial without failing. I even ran into a team leader who got us that far and kept pushing us at the end out of shear amusement of watching us get our butts kicked until we each left one by one after laughing at us and wasting all that hard work and time....I gave up on ever getting those badges and never even tried villain side.
Please don't send blind requests in games to me, I learned to ignore them in CoX, no offense meant. (this is only here until I can figure out how to put it in my actual profile on here.)

Just consult the top 3?

For a fee?

Officially or unofficially, the new group could do with having their input at some point.

I'm sure that could be arranged for the good of the game...as it rolls into CoH2.  I'm thinking the Battalion and Moon Base stuff will never see the light of day in CoH Legacy and we'll have to wait for the port to Unreal Engine 4 for that kind of stuff...

Azrael.
