I'm an April Fool's baby (No Fooling!)

Next year if Fates are willing, I'll take the day from work and celebrate by playing all my favorite characters and make a brand new one (eh, what's one more at this point).

That will be the best birthday present ever. (Unless I get married then what ever she gives me will be the best for sake of harmony.)

I think that everyone who has a birthday that falls in the active range of this thread (03/06/14- ?????) should pledge to do likewise. We should create a special BDay Global channel for everyone who wants to celebrate this to join so we can all wish them a happy birthday and offer to team if the servers align.

Hehehe, well I wouldn't want things here to take untill my birthday if things work out in the talks but if the game starts out around the month of my Bday and this thread is still, er, know, this just being open that long even if CoX was up and running maybe i'd do that.  But my Bday is a good distance from today.

Maybe, I would celebrate it by trying a task force that I'd never done (which, is MOST of them), or some of those cool massive group teamage things like Hami or Rikti Raids (which I'd ALSO never done).  Sooooo many possibilities...

Wow, just thinking about it, I played for most of the time the game was active (joined about 9 months after launch), but hadn't experienced even a half of what was available to do in the game.

I'm going to rectify that if...WHEN...it returns.

Well, if the good news came around on your birthday, it would at least make good on the horrible one you had on shutdown.

I'm crossing my fingers for good news to pop up by my birthday, though. I was in beta, and my shop fumbled the pre-order. So I had to wait almost a month after launch for my box to come in the mail. I was able to log in two days before my birthday (happy happy times) Hard to imagine that was ten years ago.

My hopes go to those who are trying to bring CoH back. As I have said before, it is my strongest belief that we will all be back in Paragon City/ Rogue Isles/ Praetoria someday soon.  I look at this with the understanding all good things take time and this has to be done right to achieve the goal. Good luck to the people involved in this endeavor! I await patiently. :)

I fully agree, I got a feeling the day of the shutdown, when I saw so many atlas parks, 30+ of them, that "There is no way they can keep this game shut down, this game is way to popular to just go away".  All the servers were packed, the outcry we made had shaken the MMORPG community and still articles pop up, since we aren't giving up.

But cannot help but think there are so many proposals that have resulted in nothing.  :( I hope but get disheartened by new ideas that eventually filter away....and posts of any positive news eventually stop. I do not play any MMOs anymore. I have tried a few but nothing has replaced CoH. Some are installed but never get played.     

I do not mean to be negative but login periodically in hope that something happens
