An interesting development from SOE could explain things...

Hi guys,

Just found out today that SOE is going to be closing down Vanguard: Saga of Heroes, and three other MMO's including Wizardry Online which was a recent addition.


This comes as little surprise, Vanguard has been running at a loss for a long time now apparently and has been running for 7 years...

However during Smedleys AMA (the President of SOE) he stated they will not sell the rights off for Vanguard 'for business reasons he cannot get into'.

I think this seems to be a common issue with most MMO companies not just NCSoft? Curious information.
