I have decided.. I want City of Heroes back in all its glory..

I am very excited about all the new projects.. but what I really want.. I want my 42 level 50 character back just the way I remembered them... With exactly what they had..

I want somehow some way for CoH to come back and somehow someway for Sentinel Plus to put everything back right where it was...

Its a dream I have..

Oh yeah.. I want all the improvements I was going to get on several toons in Issue 24 !!!!

And I want to make my DP/MA blaster.. YEAH !!! I already had the name reserved and everything..

We haven't the money or the power to make this real, so far as I can tell. Even if every single one of us sacrificed everything and we pooled together every last cent we had, I bet it would probably be a puny and insignificant amount compared to what NCSoft makes in a day.

I don't think money is the issue. 5,000 gave over 640,000.

Now if some people gave truly every cent they had, that probably would be significant in a way, but have to convince everyone to do that. I'm sure someone know some very well decent to big pocket and bank account people out there. I know personally a couple that played COX, so with people that is out there that know the important and famous people, I'm sure they know about a few dozen millionaires compared to my two. 


100,000 people that supposedly was playing COX at the end gave 2,000 or more that is at least 200 million right there. Then those well endowed bank account people can pick up and give more when others cant give that much. I mean come on, with all the claimed College English professors running around on the old forum, I know they get paid so 2,000 should be pennies and they should be able to part with 10,000-20,000 easy. :p

Same here... I spent nearly 2,000 hours on my Warshade, and even more than that creating guides for other people on how to properly handle Warshdades--as well as time spent in Mid's figuring out new builds--and I still don't feel that was enough...

I think if NCSoft had decided to merge all the servers into one rarely maintained server and required everyone who wanted to play on it to pay a "lifetime subscription" fee, there would have been FAR more people than they were expecting sign up for it.

Some of us just don't want to settle for anything less than City of Heroes.

I miss my water blaster so much I made an air powered character in CO and colored the powers aqua.  Its just not the same...
In a perfect world we would pick up the game where it left off with all the exciting updates still coming.  We can only dream.

The past week has been rough on me. Thinking about City and wanting to play it again. I actually made a new char in Icon and flew up on top of the statue in atlas park, I started to type in /e lotus I think that was the emote to sit cross legged. I didn't realize I could hate a company or love a game so much. Sometimes I feel like I'm going to break down, buy a plane ticket and just go punch Taek Jin Kim in the face. Might not being back the game but it would feel sooooooooo good.

I miss all of my characters wa :'( I so want to play them I want to make up for missing time. teaming with friends and other players. I know 1 day this phoenix will rise again.

We all share the same dream, and I say keep holding tight to it! Don't give up hope.....I have seen some truly amazing things in my life happen that were said to be impossible. There are SO many of us that want our City and characters back...I have to believe it will happen, though I don't know when. In the meantime, I am hoping that the projects being worked on will all be successful. We can play with these till the day we can fly the skies of Paragon once again. Hold fast to your faith.

But until it does we have to wait in the cold, shivering and freezing in a desolate, howling wilderness waiting for a spark. A spark that will lead to a flame that will all call us back home.

I just want to say, that if somebody were to develop a private server that didn't "play" the game, but that only enabled people to stand around in the ski lodge with ICON created toons and chat, I would totally hang there.
