Hey guys! I'm usually pretty quiet on the forums. I'm busy sewing my life away but i thought i would announce this . My hubby got a new great job in oklahoma so we will be moving in the beginning of december. Since moving can be pricey i'm putting up a Sale on my Etsy. Good choice. Tulsa is a nice place. Also, it's 100 miles away from Moore Oklahoma, which seems to be an F5 tornado magnet. At least I haven't heard of an F5 hitting anywhere near Tulsa.

I would suggest that you visit the Rhema Bible church around Christmas time and look at the Christmas lights. (Linky)
I'm sure they've added more in the 10 years since I've lived there.

i use to live in tulsa 4 years ago while my hubby was training to be a pilot and those xmas lights were amazing when we went then.. it was kinda neat to see it from the air also :)

I've never seen them from the air. However, I used to live a couple of blocks away from there so could walk through the area any time I wanted and see the lights. :)

I was also going to suggest the Gilcrease Museum. But, since you've lived in Tulsa before, I won't. :p

i miss the frisbee golf courses.. so i'm excited about that.. we dont really have any good ones up here in erie pa

It is in her area. I'm not sure how much time she spends at home though. What with her being a world famous author and all. I never really tried to look her up when I lived there because I figured that she'd like her privacy. Besides, I wouldn't know what to say to her anyway, other than "I like your books."
