Real World Hero...

I know it was a player-based charity drive (now for players without a game to play), but is Real World Hero planning on doing anything this winter?

Mr. Wentworth

Thank you for asking. RWH is obviously a little different now, for more reasons than the CoX shutdown. The online tool we used to track donations has been officially shut down as well and we are still searching for an adequate replacement. We can always provide direct links to the charities we are supporting, but it has been nice to display donation totals to motivate the community. So, at the very least RWH will post some means of encouraging charity.

We have always tried to make the donation drive a fun and entertaining time, with in game activities and rewards etc. But being a community that is now more spread out among multiple games makes this more difficult. Not impossible just more difficult. So, we may forego the fun, community building activities we have done in the past for this year: in game titles, costume contests, parties, auction. But this also doesn't mean there can't be ANY fun stuff. I know there is still plenty of support for RWH from the community and people who will step up to help promote the drive from whichever game or games they may now be in.

I got introduced to RWH through CoH chats....I still contribute to Heifer Foundation every other month.
I wished I had gotten some CoH items in their auctions when they posted, alas it's all timing.

In fact I donated just now, Christmas eve.
