There was such a huge Grond riff going the other night that I had Grondisms going through my head the whole next day.

As the self appointed (not by intention!) backer of unpopular topics I guess it's my duty to point out that this is a CO Zone chat special - you just can't get good Grond like this anywhere else but CO and in largest quantity by reading Zone chat.

Grond has a semi-awesome backstory on the wiki btw. I especially like the 'About' part. Shoulda went to the wiki the first time I looked him up but for some reason I just grondgled instead and the hits I got were about a 150' long battering ram in LotR so until now I figured at some point someone just pulled the name out of a hat.

I'm definitely up for a Grond fight.

Yes, there's a Grond. I believe he first showed up in the PnP "Stronghold." I would have to dig it out, but I don't recall him having four arms.

But now there is context. I have seen a couple of these kinds of "threads" in Zone chat, but I think you may have been the only one to see this particular one. There was a particularly good one during a vigil n Victory server one night around the word "bacon." I don't recall if it was started by Captain Bacon or if it was because Captain Bacon was standing at the bottom of the City Hall steps, but it was a pretty good time.

I tend to ignore Zone chat in CO. It gets toxic quickly.

Ad, I would have gone with "On Golden Grond," personally.  ;D
