It could be that they are very busy trying to deal with the shear volume of fixes that have needed to be done over the years they haven't yet had time to sort through what they've done in a way that they could explain it in patch notes. Perhaps there's a time frame they need to get the fixes done by too. If Cryptic North is mainly to be focused on Champions Online I wonder is any of the Paragon Studios staff who are know with Cryptic will eventually be transferred to Cryptic North. Probably not but the idea of them working on a superhero mmo that we play does seem by right in a little way.
Matt said at C2E2 that he hadn't played Champions Online or DC Online.
I am sure that Matt or any of the other old Paragon Devs would do a professional job on CO given the resources they'd have, but I don't think they'd enjoy it very much. As professionals, I'm sure they're happier at games like STO or Neverwinter that have more support which would allow them the resources and tools to do a better job.
Champions needs some Devs who can be passionate about THAT game, THAT lore.
I do wonder what sort of game Cryptic will work on next though ... if I were Jack I'd be wanting to make something that hued as close to the COH model as possible, but that's just me, and Cryptic probably needs a higher level of probable profit than such a game would allow them.
