Especially if you like shirtless mancandy! ^_^

And, this is why I've been avoiding it. I only saw one episode, and I have read of some of the more geek-centric guest stars, but it is essentially what I would expect from CW. I'll stick with the Justice League cartoon on Netflix. :)
I wouldn't use the word "replace," but there's no word for "take over for you and make everything better almost immediately," so we just say "replace."

He is hardly shirtless in the show.  But they do show him working out and that is usually when he is.  It makes sense and it doesn't seem gratitutious to me.  Not like Vampire Diaries - lol.

OMG...City of Heroes™

TRADEMARK ENFRINGMENT ! ! !

1. NCSoft sues DC comic and FOX
2. NCSoft uses the money to reopen CoX...

OK...Now back to reality...

So TonyV... Is that date viable...I mean for the show that is...    :o ;D

What if NcSoft closed City of Heroes because Fox/CW PAID them to do it?! Just for the name!

This is a free site where a lot of shows seem to be stockpiled. Arrow is one of them.

*Takes tin foil hat*

Not as far fetched as some think. People pay big money for "Exclusive Rights" and the likes.

Speaking of Tag Lines:  I watch (with my children, of course) Phineas and Ferb.  There is a new episode coming out in august with a P/F and Marvel cross over.  In one of the scenes, Iron man tells Phineas: "We are Heroes, This is what we do."

Thank you Disney!!!

I may be wrong and I don't want to put words in dwturducken's mouth.  But I think he was more so talking about how most CW tend to go toward the way off.....highschooly I guess.  I don't know if that is the right word, but they seem to be made in the hopes of appealing a lot of younger people, like watching an action packed OC.  I like Green Arrow and like Smallville and Supernatural, but those had the same feeling to them.  I don't mean that in a bad way though.

MTV's Teen Wolf is my favorite source of man-candy these days. They are way better than the CW at finding any and every excuse to get a hot guy out of his clothes! Strategically placed locker doors and carefully draped towels keep things just short of full frontal ^_^

Yeah... I saw the trailer and when I saw "City of Heroes," I immediately became a bit "verklempt."

When I found out there weren't really going to be "supers" in it (like Smallville), I wasn't that interested. It seems that might have changed.

Also, Paul Blackthorne is Harry Dresden, not Detective Quentin Lance :-P

That being said, I may have to watch it now.

Well cross posting to here as well.

And now word is Barry Allen is showing up in Arrow with his own series in the making.

The CW Developing The Flash as a Spinoff of Arrow

Of course they went with the serious Flash.  More broody.

There are tons of DC universe characters and references in Arrow -- the obvious, like he's trained by Deathstroke and fights Deadshot, and much subtler ones... offhand references to DC fictional cities and a gang of robbers who aren't specifically named but who (for example) wear spade suit playing card hockey masks that make up a Royal Flush
