This weekend, I went to The Cape Radio's Capecon 2013.

Unfortunately, the night was COMPLETELY ruined by the presence of this butt-ugly bastard.

He wasn't much for karaoke.  So he was entirely no fun.

All in all, much fun was had.

Some of the straights who came in later on were not QUITE sure what to make of Detra.

The title for this year's con was "A Family Reunion".  And some of the straights kept asking "You're all related?"
Cue "Lucy!  You got some 'splainin' to do!"

Anyhoo, we bugged out about 2AM and hit up a Golden Nugget for breakfast.
Got to meet with some of the people involved in The Phoenix Project as well.  From the sound of it, they're a couple years out from release, but they've got a lot of the basics covered already, which is good.

After that it was home, about an hour of sleep and then back up to go to work...

I need to win the frickin' lottery already.  Working for a living sucks!

It was awesome meeting new faces this year.

I just attended my first ever local Comic Con today.  ( called Rob-Con)   Pretty interesting, although I miss the good ol' days when
you could go to a flea market and buy comics for 10c each.  Comics are no longer for kids...

Took a few pix, although not sure of the etiquette and/or legalese of posting other people's pictures online.
