Remember these a few years ago?

Soon the cyber-catgirl at cons will become a reality.  Run.  Run while you can.

When they joked about

dangling an unresolved plotline about halfway through,
I'll admit... I got scared.

The Fifth Horseman

QuoteI felt a great disturbance in the geekdom, as if millions of anime fans suddenly squealed in delight. I fear something kawaii has happened.

... pity that this is a dog tail rather than a proper cat tail though.

We were heroes. We were villains. At the end of the world we all fought as one. It's what we did that defines us.
The end occurred pretty much as we predicted: all servers redlining until midnight... and then no servers to go around.

It'd be funny to see a cat wagging its tail when it gets excited.

Though frankly, it's a known behavior that dogs don't wag their tails if they don't have anyone to wag at or can't see them. It's not just a matter of being excited.

Shenku

I actually saw a guy wearing those mind control cat ears last year at C2E2 working one of the booths... He looked kind of ridiculous. The device seems like an interesting idea, but it's not really designed very well...

Side note, for some reason reading the title of this thread, I for some reason thought it had something to do with the cat-girl invasions that would crop up on the main CoH forums years ago when CuppaJo would go on vacation for a few days... Ah, I miss the good 'ol days... :(
