Demos on a Mac

Can anyone give details on how to launch demos on a Mac?
A friend asked me this on some other boards where I've been posting links to my demos and I told him I'd find out. I borrowed an older iMac from someone to find out myself but it's architexture doesn't support the i24 version. (FYI, I have tried really hard to seed it but just can't get this thing to seed).
Heck, I'm not even sure if the demos I made on my windoze box will even run on a mac.

I know I'm not the only one wondering how to do this, and it'd be nice to have an official "How-to" thread for demos on a mac since PC instructions are everywhere now.
