Something Awful's CoH Let's Play.

So not long after the shutdown was announced, I figured I needed to do something to commemorate the game I'd spent so long playing. I didn't have a lot of ways to do that in my skillset, but what I did have was enthusiasm, an itchy Print Screen finger, a character that could solo 8-man Rikti missions, and no idea how difficult the task I'd decided on would actually be.

So, I made a Let's Play. Well, more specifically, we did - there's a lot of things that could be said about the goons that played this game, but we did genuinely love it. Characters were brought out of retirement or specifically created, to showcase as much of the game as we could in the time we had left. We didn't get to all of it, and as it turns out an MMO is a bit hard to Let's Play, but personally I think we did pretty well.

The LP's finally been put up at the Let's Play archive, so it's now openly and freely available. My updates were the Rikti War Zone's story arc, but personally I feel like a lot of the others did a lot of things better. My personal favorites are the Slot Machine arc and the Issue 24 stuff, but everyone did a great job, especially considering most of us hadn't done a Let's Play before.

I hope you guys enjoy it.

Wow...Looks like you burned a lot of midnight oil.  :o
Looks kind of like another wiki-type website about City of Heroes,
but in your own style....And I like the examples given, like origin types with helpful graphics.

Wiki is composed of dry material and has many holes. But it was all I had to help me find things
in the game at the time.

Great dedication, congrats on buiding this, impressive  ;D

The CoH LP that SA put together was great, and I'm glad it's finally archived.  Everyone who worked on this made great stuff!  Now I just gotta catch up on all of the parts I missed.

This reminded me of how much the Dr. Kahn TF annoyed me.

I could never stop thinking "...but the tram doesn't go there".
