TimtheEnchanter

I only remember seeing bits and pieces of this on sci-fi (or was it syfy by then) a few years ago. All I can remember is that it took place within the realm of Celtic/Irish mythology, wasn't particularly violent or scary, and took advantage of a lot of poorly-done composite effects to make the actors appear to be "wee folk."

The title of the film was needlessly long - something like "The Secret World of Fairies, Trolls, and Leprechauns." Attempts to locate it on IMDB have failed, but I swear I didn't just dream this thing up.

Does it sound familiar to anyone?

Sounds like you're talking about The Magical Legend of the Leprechauns, starring Randy Quaid and Colm "Chief O'Brien" Meaney, among others. I quite liked it. It was a charming bit of cheesy fun :)

Yep, that certainly looks like it. Not sure where I got the extra creature names in the title, unless I mixed it up with a description they had for the evening line-up.

Thanks!  :)
