Chat Channel 45

This channel has the ability to make some so-so demos into really fantastic machinima. If I could only get those chat boxes out of the upper left corner and stop the lengthy ones from overlapping.

Does anyone know how to set the onscreen X and Y coordinates for Chat 45?

I saw Synapse do it for Zwill here 34 minutes into the video:

I can't make out exactly what's being typed, and I suspect it may be a different syntax for the demofiles than it was for the dev console if it's even posible to do it in demos.
I've tried every way I can think of to do it. Has anyone actually done it?
