I still wish they'd actually make complete costume sets. The dragon armor bits lack boots, because the boss they came off doesn't wear boots. I wish they'd made boots for us to use though.

I think I remember this being specifically mentioned in the official forum thread that was started by one of the devs from Cryptic North. There are bigger problems with the game that are being addressed, but Trailturtle was actively looking for specific problems with costume pieces a couple of months ago, shortly before the announcement revealing Cryptic North's existence.

The dragon armor bits lack boots...

Yeah, unfortunately, there were no Dragon Armor Boots available, so I had to pick some other kind of footwear for Dragon Princess. Currently, she is wearing Gladiator Boots. She tried on some other boots, but, meh, nothing looked great.

Similarly, there were no arm accessories for Dragon Armor. She chose Chiton Arm Bands, which have a similar texture to the Dragon Armor pieces.

Update: I changed her footwear to Arcane Long Boots. They look better.

I grinded to earn Questionite; exchanged it for Zen; then bought the Void archetype; and used it to recreate my character named Nictus Ascendant, who had been a Warshade hero in City of Heroes.

Some newer toons of mine; Guardian of the Pit being a recreation of a CoH character.  Also, I just noticed how similar all three of them are; with how bad the default human looks in this game, I guess I always go for something non-human.

Name: Guardian of the Pit
Age: Immortal
Height: 7'0"
Weight: 235lbs

Abilities: Skilled martial artist and possesses supernatural strength.  Her armor is a ferrous liquid entity, able to take any form that she desires and gives her incredible resilience.  Her true power is her strength of mind; she possesses the willpower and determination necessary to perform her difficult task and is unaffected by attacks of the mind.

Bio: Entrusted with the task of containing demonic forces on Primal Earth and ensuring their incarceration within the Pit. The Pit (also known as the Abyss) is a prison of eternal emptiness and darkness.

Due to the meddling of demon-worshipping mortals, rogue sorcerers and the like, demons are sometimes summoned out of the Pit and into Primal earth.  The retrieval of these escapees is not a simple task, but it is one that must be done without fail, or the earth would quickly find itself overwhelmed in demonic beings.

Referring to herself only as 'A Guardian,' many mortals have taken to calling her 'Guardian of the Pit.'  While truly selfless in nature, she would not hesitate to do what is necessary in order to capture or eliminate her quarry, lending her a rather ruthless reputation.

Abilities: Can survive in the vacuum of space.  Possesses a powerful, agile physique and can run at high speeds for long periods.  She also has extremely powerful kicks.

Bio:"My name is Zel Fhloz'reen and I once played Ziltchball for the Orion Omegas."

"Our team made it all the way to the Interplanetary Championship, and we were facing our rivals, the Alpha Centauri Alphas (The Centaurians are not very creative)."

"During the game, a bizarre cosmic event occurred in which miniature black holes started appearing in the middle of the field.  All I remember was that I was heading towards the enemy goal, with almost no time left on the clock.  A black hole opened right in front of me and then....nothing."

"I thought I was dead, but apparently it is possible to survive being thrown through a black hole.  I found myself hurtled through space to this planet, which while rather strange, has a love for a game called 'football' which is oddly familiar to Ziltchball."

Abilities: Nel can sense magical auras, and she is very resistant to magical abilities.  Individuals with magical abilities may feel odd around her as she appears as a "blank" with no aura to speak of.  She is a skilled hand-to-hand fighter.

Bio(A WIP at this point):

Nel is of a race of strong beings from the planet of Astrus.  While her people are very skilled fighters, they lack one thing that many of their neighboring systems share: magic.  The Aster have almost no magical ability, but as a result are very resistant to it as well.

Nel is on what she calls a "tour of the universe."  What she would not admit is that she was exiled from her home on pain of death by her older sister.  Her sister performed a coup d'état and unseated their father from the royal throne.  Now a threat, Nel was exiled from her home, never to return.

Unknown to Nel, her sister found a way to give her people magic, and she desired to conquer the surrounding systems now that they were a force to be reckoned with.

(Unlike many stories like this, Nel was not attempting to rally support to take back her home, defeat her sister, etc.  I wanted it to actually be kind of a bad ending; Nel has accepted her current station as a castaway and has no desire to return home.)

Thanks to CO's Black Friday weekend sale, I bought the Master archetype and created a new character. It's an homage to a hero from a 1975 Chinese movie, Infra-Man. (Check out the movie trailer.)

When Demon Princess Elzebub awoke and unleashed her skeleton ghosts and giant monsters to threaten Hong Kong, Professor Chang of the Science Headquarters transformed a brave volunteer, Lei Ma, into a cyborg kung-fu superhero--the man beyond bionics--Infra-Man! After saving Hong Kong, now Infra-Man has come to Millennium City to protect the world!

As shown in the trailer, Infra-Man has the ability to grow to giant size in order to battle against giant monsters. Hence, I equipped my CO character with the Super-Magnifier device, which enables him to grow to three times his normal size.

Lots of fun. I particularly like the Thundering Kicks power, which unleashes a three-kick combo.

During CO's Black Friday weekend sale, I bought the Savage archetype and created a new heroine, Feral. So far, she's a lot of fun to play with vicious claw attacks and rapid healing.

I grinded for Questionite, converted it to Zen, and bought two additional character slots. Then I created a new character, named Armory, using the Soldier archetype. Naturally, she uses the Flag Speed travel power.
