I always envisioned one of those loopy, whacked-out and delirious kinds of dreamy, but I bet you could make a pie that can achieve the same effect, so what the hey.

Let's see:

    1/2 cup butter, room temperature

    3/4 cup white sugar

    2 (1 ounce) squares unsweetened baking chocolate, melted and cooled

    1 teaspoon vanilla extract

    2 eggs

    1 cup "herbs"

    1 prepared 8 inch pastry shell, baked and cooled

Directions

    Cream butter in a mixing bowl. Gradually beat in the sugar with an electric mixer until light colored and well blended. Stir in the thoroughly cooled chocolate, and vanilla extract. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating 5 minutes on medium speed after each addition. Add "herbs" slowly on medium speed.  Spoon the chocolate filling into a cooled, baked pie shell.

    Refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving.

Is so.  Recipe for French Silk pie, with "herbs".  Will taste delicious and fulfill the "loopy, whacked-out and delirious" definition of dreamy that Guy quoted.

Tried the brownie in a mug yesterday. Thank god I have a steel stomach (it's still fighting this morning it seems). I'll try another recipe I can understand (ie. No Imperial Unit)

Oh I just looked at the ingredients.  I would not use olive oil.  Coconut oil would be perfect.

Used sunflower oil. But will try with melted butter and less overall ingredients. (was 2/3 filled and overspilled in the microwave, though thankfully not explosively.)
