Yes on our last night in CoH at 10:45 pst we crashed Virtue server, I for one am proud of this!

And I think it might have crashed a second time about an hour later.

I personally wouldn't use the word "proud", exactly - I'm not happy that that many people had trouble staying on their home server for the last hours - but I think it says a lot about the dedication that people have to this game, that we could get that many people logging on in the middle of the night (or early morning for some in Europe, I imagine) for no other purpose than to be there when the servers get turned off.

By the end it repeated 4 or 5 times.  :D
We were heroes. We were villains. At the end of the world we all fought as one. It's what we did that defines us.
The end occurred pretty much as we predicted: all servers redlining until midnight... and then no servers to go around.

Somewhere beyond time and space, if you look hard you might find a flash of silver trailing crimson: a lone lost Spartan on his way home.

At one point I was #100 of 1504 in queue...

That, right there, says a lot.

I tried to screenshot, but it didn't work.

Heck, at the first crash I was #500-something out of 1500! We crushed the Virtue server.

Yeah, I would've preferred not having the crashes this time. I wanted to end on the AP steps on Virtue. Couldn't get back in soon enough.
