Additional forum sections

Since a lot of displaced players will be calling Titan's forums home for the time being, would the admins consider a "Creativity section" with additional boards for things like art/multimedia stuff, role-play and writing not directly related to Plan Z development?

I see art and story sections listed under city Sunset but are they intended for Plan Z-related content only?

Maybe some rearranging of the index so its better defined where you would go for certain things (like knowing where the appropriate place is to share fan art versus development art)

Agreed, the forums are a wreck and could use some rearranging.

You are correct that anything under "Plan Z" "City Sunset" is specific to Plan Z. So if you want to do story or art outside of that context, you probably shouldn't use those forums.

I just added some new forums and moved things around a bit.

The other option is to rename that "City Sunset" option to something more relevant to its usage...

Personally, Project Z (or whatever the gets called) would be easier to navigate to

City sunset *doesnt* exactly tell you what the function of the board is, although yes... once you start looking into the subsections it becomes clear.. but i am talking abotu *initial* impressions.

I actually just checked with Segev and then did exactly that. :)

So do posts about the closing of the game, its last day, player impressions, etc go in General Discussions now?

It was confusing whether City Sunset was meant to be for end-of-operation topics (it kind of morphed into PLan Z space, but wasn't about that at first when it wasn't thought up yet).

That is correct. I think the topics you describe all fit well under General Discussion. (Although if there's a need for additional forums/subforums, please suggest and request!)

When I created it, I gave it a fairly vague name and description because I wasn't entirely sure how it was going to end up being used. Turns out, it got used for Plan Z. :) Perhaps we should have created a separate forum for end-of-operation topics a few months back; at this point though it seems somewhat moot.

The one section I will miss, and stated so is the Comics and Hero/Villain Culture, which was a catch all for TV, Movies, Comics, Anime, Novels.  It was a place where you could find people who were knowledgeable about Gerry Anderson TV series of the 60s and 70s as well as Game of Thrones novels and this week's episode of Walking Dead. 

While there are other sites that specialized on TV or movies or comics or anime or novels, there isn't a single place.

It was the heart of my forum experience over there.   :'(

I added a "Comics and Other Media" forum. I'm not sure I love the way I named it, but I wanted to reflect that the scope is broader than just Hero/Villain. Hopefully that'll work. :)

Could the 'other games' section develop some subsections? i.e. CO/STO/TSW/LoTRO/ ect.

Since our community is now being spread over multiple games, perhaps we could make dedicated spaces to talk about those games.

I'm a bit hesitant to create sub-forums for specific games until there's enough threads to justify it. Right now, the "Other Games" section is small enough that people should be able to pretty easily find what they're looking for. If a particular game starts getting lots of threads, then at that point we can create a sub-forum for the game and move its threads there.
