Listen to the 'mustn'ts'. Listen to the 'don'ts'. Listen to the 'shouldn'ts', the 'impossibles', the 'won'ts'. Listen to the 'you'll never haves', then listen close to me... Anything can happen . Anything can be.

Excellent!

I would like to see some kid dressed up as Nosferatu
some year. Now there was a vampire!

Actually, wasn't the vampire in Nosferatu named
Count Orlock, or something like that?

I worked tonight until 9pm, we had four kids come in (I had a trick-or-treat sign in the door) - but two of them were coworker's daughter and "girlfriend's daughter" (uhh, almost-step-daughter? lol) so I don't know if they count - one was a fairy and the other was a strawberry. The two legit ones were both heroes - Iron Man and Batman.

We also had a group of teenage boys come in dressed as vikings, but they were actually getting parts to fix their car so I can't count them as trick or treaters.

Also pretty much all the adults that came in also took candy, because... Hey. Free candy.

I'm at my folks house and saw way more kids last night than I ever have in my neighborhood in Denver.  And superheroes made up a third to a half of the costumes I saw.  Spiderman was the most popular of them, then Batman, a couple of Superman and a Supergirl too.  For those who care, fairy princess was most popular for girls while ninja came in second for the boys after the superheroes listed.

We didn't give adults or older teens any candy, they got pretzels.  >:(
