Dasher

This just occurred to me. I remember when CoH went global, a dev from Paragon Studios mentioned that they would have nothing to do with "the Asian market" because it was 100% PvP and was an entirely different animal. They mentioned that in Korea the game was called "City of Hero", but I haven't heard anything much about it.
So what I was wondering was, what's the state of the Korean branch of the game? Is it still up and running?
If Paragon Studios has nothing to do with the Korean branch of the game, then shutting down Paragon Studios won't affect that branch, right?
Why don't they just piggyback "our" game onto their servers?
Or is "City of Hero" already long gone?

The Korean version of the game was a total flop. I can't remember if it actually ever went live or simply beta...but I know it did not last long at all.

City of Hero launched and was summarily shut down after about a month.  Maybe two.

I was once being interviewed by Barbara Walters...In between two of the segments she asked me..."But what would you do if the doctor gave you only six months to live?" I said, "Type faster." - Isaac Asimov

City of Hero actually didn't even get past the three-day headstart.  :-[ :-[ :-[
