Any thoughts on this, or should I start looking into it?

If nobody else is, please do. It's got valuable information on it that should be saved if at all possible.

Ooo, @Malohin!  Think the usual tool will handle the boards, or that it'll choke?  All those links and signatures!

Yes, 'the usual tool' may be the answer. The COH forums are on one URL; not sure about all the sigs/art/links. I'm looking at the structure of the boards, and what options to use. I may start it tonight; maybe tomorrow.

It won't choke. I'll run it in 'trickle mode;' the objective will be to capture data, not capture a deployable site. Not yet.

Still working. Looks like brute force will work, but is slow. Also working on a 'single article' troll, just for the article content. We'd lost the 'thread' data, but the putting the rest in a database would make it search-able.
