There is already a link when viewing the list of topics.  It is the https://www.cohtitan.com/forum/Themes/SilentWave01/images/icons/last_post.gif icon right next to the "Last Post" column.

Or are you talking about in the thread itself?

In the topic list, you can also click https://www.cohtitan.com/forum/Themes/SilentWave01/images/english/new.gif to just to the first new post in that thread (I think).

Hmm, I guess I can't trigger a new thread posting on my own...but if that 'Last Post' thing points you to the first post in a thread to occur after you last looked at a particular thread, then yes. But say I goto the game forums and the title's bold, then when I open that thread there is a 'View First Thread' link that jumps you to the first thread that posted since you last opened that thread.

I usually use the "Show Unread Posts" link in the upper left to show me all the threads that have new posts and go from there.

Clicking the "new" icon on the right of the thread title takes you to the newest post. I just used it on several threads here. :)

This is what I normally do and I so Rarely see this "NEW" button mentioned.
