City of Data update and Epic Power Pools.
« on: June 13, 2011, 10:39:55 PM »
With the recent update to City of Data I was planning to update the links in the various APP/PPP pages but I encountered a slight problem.

The standard template for linking to a powerset in CoD assumes that the AT name in the description and the AT name in the link are the same. Unfortunately due to the partial duplication of epic pools this isn't always the case. For example, consider Blasters. The names of their PPPs are (using the CoD names):
Mastermind_Leviathan_Mastery
Blaster_Mace_Mastery
Blaster_Mu_Mastery
Mastermind_Soul_Mastery

Consequently using the standard template gives:
Leviathan Mastery for Blasters at RedTomax.com

So the link is broken. APPs I think are ok (I haven't tested all of them yet) but I'm not sure how best to fix PPPs.

City of data uses the internal power names, which are assigned by the devs and never appear in-game in any form that's visible to the user.
