Incorrect Damage Numbers?
« on: September 07, 2008, 10:15:03 AM »
Please correct me if there are differences in the damage numbers between US and EU Servers or if I am looking at the wrong number, but it seems to me that all the damage numbers for the Claws Power Set and the Soul Mastery Epic Power Set of the Stalker are wrong.

I've set the Damage Display in the Hero/Villain Designer to "Level 50 Damage" and it displays the following numbers (Basic Damage, Stalker Claws Set):
Swipe - 42.8
Strike - 61.2
Slash - 80.7
Assassin's Claw - 152.9
Focus - 100.3
Shockwave - 61.2

However if I check these numbers ingame they are as follows:
Swipe - 42.3
Strike - 60.1
Slash - 77.9
Assassin's Claw - 139.0
Focus - 77.3
Shockwave - 57.8

For the Epic Powers I get the following display (Stalker Soul Master Set):
Dark Blast - 122.3
Moonbeam - 168.8

Ingame these Values are as follows:
Dark Blast - 55.6
Moonbeam - 76.7

I wouldn't have noticed these differences where they not so dramatically for the Epic Powers...

The claws set was altered ingame recently, which is why the damage numbers are currently off, they'll be updated to match in the near future.

I'll look into the epic numbers for stalkers.

Give me Information.

I've found the error in the epic damage values: in the database all the epic values do list the "hidden damage" as normal damage - without the assassination flag.

Hey Mids, as long as you're looking at damage stuff...

The damage scales for Blasters, Corruptors, and defenders are all the same for all the sets I checked when you look up the comparison windows.  They are fine in the build windows, but in the damage ones, it looks like they don't take in to account the AT modifier.

Yup, i'm aware the graphs are doing that at the moment. The maths all look up the current AT at present, it's on the list.
