New Features Request

One of the features I really miss from the old site is the listing of pre-requisite badges in each badge's detailed description.

For example, when you clicked on Field Crafter in the Accolades list, you'd get a pop-up detailing Field Crafter and it would have a list showing all the badges you need to earn before you can get Field Crafter, and whether or not you had them.

I think the current Badge Details was put in place as a quick fix just so they could be marked off the List of items needed during the re-building process.  Once we get the rest of the stuff back to where the old CIT / CGT was (as far as functionality) then we will be performing all the little tweaks to bring back the fan favorites such as yours.

Unless it's an easy thing to do and SP can get it done whenever? :P

It's pretty easy, but I need to rewrite the entire badge display window. It was thrown together quickly and really needs an overhaul (already :o)

Sorry for bumping this old thread, but I think there was a vital part of the OP's request that I don't believe was addressed -- the pop-up window that has the pre-requisite badges listed is great (better than the overlay on the old side IMO), but it does not say whether or not each of those badges is earned or not, and theres no easy way to find out except looking for each one on the other page.

Are you planning on adding that back in?

That's a good point megaslow. I missed that, and I miss that as well.

Bumping something that needs to return to the sites is quite alright to do. If it was there before and people post that they used the feature, it reminds us to make sure it's fully functional.

The popup window showing the badges needed and if you had them or not made it so much easier to figure out what you were missing.
