Code 8

So Code 8 was a short film that Stephen and Robbie Amell did a couple years back.  You can find the short on Youtube.  They did a crowdfunding effort to get a full length movie and it was just released both in theaters and for sale digitally.    It's not bad but feels more like a pilot for a series.  Now surprise surprise, Quibi (Yet another new subscription streaming platform) is turning it into a series.  Quibi plans to have a ton of new shows and movies but everything will run under 10 minutes.

I won't bother with Quibi except maybe a free trial. But it looks like the Amells are going to have something to keep them busy for a while.

Hrm...  I can't recall if I've been consistently passing this up recently on Netflix or Amazon, but I may have to actually think about watching it now.
