The Memorizer

Aloha everyone! I was wanting to try my hand at my own player-run mission a week from now (Thursday, November 2nd), and wanted to see if there was any interest in it.

The premise is rather simple - there is a hero named "The Memorizer" who is having memories of Paragon City, and has thus sleepwalked into a particular part of it. However, once there, a powerful psychic started to take advantage of The Memorizer's weakened state of mind and has stun-locked them!

The mission is basically a 'find the character/NPC' type of affair, with the City Zone provided, and then some hints as well if people are struggling and ask for one/after a set time has passed.

The goal is to get people exploring all of the various city zones, including ones that are often overlooked and/or they haven't visited in some time. I'm wondering if I should add in something about finding that particular zone's accolade badge - but that would unfairly benefit players who have already collected every badge (such as myself :roll:)

Assuming there is sufficient interest, I was wanting to do this every Thursday until November the 30th, with that day being a big finale. I was originally thinking 4:00 Central time since that is the most convenient to me, but upon realizing that is 2:00 pm Pacific time I am now wondering if there is a better time slot I could put this into.

Each time would originally start out in Atlas Park, but then move to adjacent zone(s), either by city gates or monorail. My thought process is that, by starting out in Atlas Park and using the more traditional methods of zone transition, even the newest of Paragon Chat users will be able to follow along.

Also, I have hoarded quite the stockpile of Candy Canes thanks to Trick or Treating in the Halloween Event, and was wondering if it would be appropriate to award a 'winner' or 'winners' with Presents!

TL;DR

Find-the-Hidden-Character game is happening, planning it for every Thursday [starting on November the 2nd], asking all of you if you are interested and what time slot(s) would be the best for this event, and if there should be rewards for 'winning'.

I'm only just now realizing - perhaps the best time would be directly after HERC costume contests?

Plenty of people would likely already be on at that point, and then a potential over-time on "The Memorizer" event - however unlikely - wouldn't interfere with an already well-established event.

That, or I should move the event away from Thursdays and on to a different day - but then the match-up with Nov. 30th would no longer be there.
