New Mutants first trailer.  So they are obviously doing this as a horror movie and I'm ok with that.  Many of the New Mutants storylines greatly resembled horror.  As long as they do the characters right it could be a great change up.

When I saw the trailer, it left me confused about what it was supposed to be.  And then I thought about it for a minute and realised I couldn't recall anything about the New Mutants comic-wise.

I'm not sure what it's supposed to be either. The only horror-esque stuff I remember from NM is the Belasco stuff and this doesn't look to be going that direction. Of course since NM was only rarely half-decent going a different direction is probably a good plan.

It's from the Demon Bear story line.  Second year of the series I think.  It was pretty short and didn't involve crossovers so it could adapt well.

Only bright spot from the NM comics is they introduced Deadpool.
